A day devised especially for art and design teachers in Essex to explore how creative ideas can be linked to the environment, hosted by the Centre for the Arts and Design in the Environment (CADE) for the Writtle School of Design (WSD), Writtle College.

To be held on:

- 9.15 am - 4.00 pm

Aims:
• Investigate approaches to creativity with digital technology
• Develop skills using natural materials to create special places
• Promote networking with other creative professionals across the educational spectrum
• Provide a fuller understanding of the opportunities offered by Writtle School of Design for teachers and their students

The day provides an opportunity for teachers to view the arts and design facilities available at Writtle School of Design, and to discuss the potential for collaborations. In addition it will allow participants to take part in workshops involving digital approaches to design, and learning through experiencing the natural environment, with a chance to meet and network with other creative professionals.
