Pulse – a day for art, design, geography and technology teachers
A group of teachers spent the day with Writtle School of Design at Pulse – art and design for life on Wednesday 11th January. During the day they attended workshops including 'Colour from Plants' led by Nabil Ali during which they learned about the processes involved in making pigments. Other workshops covered the skills involved in 'Animation Techniques' and 'SketchUp'.
WSD students gave short presentations and talked to the teachers about their journey to study in WSD and their
experiences on their courses while here. The delegates were very positive in their feedback and were keen to
collaborate with CADE and WSD to increase school student knowledge of courses and opportunities to study.
One of the delegates wrote "An enjoyable day with well informed staff who were great ambassadors for the college".
