During the last ten years Writtle College has had a series of very positive staff and student exchanges with the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (NSAC), Truro, Canada. Staff from CADE have been involved in HortEast Conference presentations in Halifax considering ‘Art in the Garden’ and in lecture series based at the NSAC. Professor Carol Goodwin regularly visits Britain, including Writtle College, with students from NSAC as part of ‘The British Garden’ module which explores both contemporary and historic designed landscapes.
