Janet Dukes School, in Basildon, has been working with Creative Partnerships to consider how they could increase the use of their school grounds within the curriculum. CADE worked in collaboration with teachers at the school to undertake a series of workshops that explored the process of ideas generation for design. This day was the start of a project being undertaken by the artist Siobhan O’Neill, and the arts organisation ‘Circling the Square’ to provide a landscape design that will foster better access to, and increase the use of the outdoor environment by pupils and teachers.
