Felmore Primary School, Basildon, is involved in creating a Mini-Eden Project as part of a Creative Partnerships initiative. Youngsters from the school came to visit Writtle College to explore a range of environments. The Amenity glasshouses were an ideal space in which to explore different habitats from around the world. Working with a plant scientist and staff from Circling the Square the youngsters were encouraged to research the varying habitats with drawings, photographs, discussion and some hands on planting. They returned to their own school inspired to enhance their learning environment.
