CADE is keen to show a new generation the value of studying design in Higher Education. Through a series of summer schools funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) Aim Higher Initiative, young people have been introduced to the design process focussing on specific projects within the Writtle College campus. Each summer school aims to demonstrate the transforming effect designers can have on the quality of the environment.
They said:
“A great time, really worthwhile experience, all the people were fantastic and can’t thank you enough!”
“Really good – freedom was good”
“It was fun and enjoyable…definitely going to go into higher education”
