Futures
The pilot project for The Core incubator units is already in place with two recent Writtle College graduates of interior design. Artists are already fostered by the College environment, a number are developing their practice by interacting with the College campus or attending relevant educational modules.

The Core building development will be an exemplar for the regeneration of an agricultural building on the College Campus using sustainable technologies, and innovative approaches linking the building to the landscape. The scope and extent of the provision of The Core is being developed with significant consultation with artists and designers.
Landscape development around The Core includes a reservoir and mixed land use that considers art and nature with landscape and conservation needs. |
