As an artist Janie creates sculptures which are predominantly abstract and organic forms that explore techniques in wood lamination and bending. Her background as an engineer and subsequently as a sculptor have provided a range of skills and experience for her role in the organisation and support of CADE projects. She believes arts administration is a positive way to support the use of the visual arts in education and the wider community.
