Margaret has been actively involved in the design, management and teaching of Writtle College’s environmental courses. Her teaching has included various aspects of soil conservation, land degradation and remediation. Margaret is interested in the relationship between people’s spiritual and religious convictions and their attitudes to the environment and conservation, including concepts of ‘sacred space’.
Margaret collaborated with CADE and the artist Lynn Schwartz in exploring the relationship between science and art, in particular the role of words in mediating science to non-scientists.
