Ron is a zoologist and has taught a variety of subjects in the biological sciences, with emphasis on the natural environment. He has an on-going interest in the visual and performing arts. He has a genuine desire to use art as a vehicle to explain science. He was involved with the residency of Lynn Schwartz part of the Essex Picardy Arts Exchange programme funded by Essex County Council.
