Stephanie Bunn
‘Living Art in the Landscape’, 1998
Stephanie Bunn joined Writtle College as Artist in Residence for the conference ‘Living Art in the Landscape’ during March 1998.
Stephanie had considerable skills in willow sculpture techniques and in the academic world where she was completing her PhD on felt as used in yurt construction and decoration. She shared her creative vision and willow weaving talents with a group of students studying for a National Diploma in Horticulture. Together they created a range of artworks relating to the campus, including a shelter, using harvested willow stems grown as part of the winter display for the ornamental grounds.
